Congratulations are in order to LMU Women’s Head Coach Charity Elliott and her staff for landing a tremendous transfer in Gabby Green. Green recently played at California and will have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out a year due to NCAA transfer rules. Green is certain to have an intimidate impact when she takes the floor for the Lions. Former LMU basketball standout Anthony Ireland continues to dish out assists both on and off the court after a stellar career. After starting the season playing in Greece, Ireland concluded the 2015-16 season playing for Trefl Sopot in Poland. Later this month, Ireland will host his second annual Skills Academy in his hometown of Waterbury, Connecticut through the Greater Waterbury YMCA. Continue reading

Mattias Markusson is a high effort, developing big man who runs the floor well and uses his height well. He shows some good shooting, passing and rebounding skills and footwork. He has game-changing size inside on defense. For a player that has only been playing for 3 ½ years he shows some real promise.
