According to a tweet by Ryan Silver, Drew Buggs’ former AAU coach, the 6’3’ grad transfer from the University of Hawaii, has narrowed down his final three schools to Iowa State, Missouri and LMU.

JD DuBois who played a LMU from 2008-2012, is currently a player development coach for the Detroit Pistons, but has also started hosting a podcast called “THE RIGHT CONVERSATION”. In his first episode JD is joined by Dr. Corey Yeager to discuss the very important subject of mental wellness.

Charity Elliot and staff have signed three excellent players for the class of 2020. Eliza Joynes, will be an incoming freshman while Ariel Johnson and Cassandra Gordon are transfers from Georgetown and the University of Florida respectively. Aquira DeCosta the highest rated recruit in program history, and possible WCC history, committed to LMU earlier this year.

6’7” 205-pound SG/SF Tevian Jones of the University of Illinois has announced he is transferring from the Big Ten basketball powerhouse, and LMU is among the schools he is considering. Other schools include Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado State, Hawaii, Pacific, Portland State and UCSB. After a redshirt year, Jones would have two years of eligibility left.

247 Sports is reporting that Elijah Harkless, a 6’4”, 195 lb. SO G from Cal State Northridge will be transferring and that LMU is among the schools that have offered the dynamic, emerging player a scholarship. Other schools on his current list include Fresno State, Montana State, Oklahoma and San Diego.

Coach Johnson and staff have received a transfer commitment from 6-3, 180-pound guard Quentin Jackson, Jr. He is a graduate transfer from Temple University and will be eligible to play right away. Jackson has good ball handling skills, can attack the rim, and has a mean ball-fake, one-dribble jumper in his tool chest. He comes in as strong candidate to start and adds much needed depth and experience to the Lions back court.
