Bryan Hart a 6 -1 guard from Clayton State (DII) in Morrow, Georgia recently announced his intention to transfer, and has received interest from LMU. Lucas Everett was first to report this on his Twitter account.

Hart would have two years of eligibility remaining, but would have to sit out a year, unless the transfer rule is amended by the NCAA in the upcoming weeks. He put up some great stats last season: 14.7 PPG 2.0 APG 4.0 RPG 39% 3FG making an impressive 68 made threes.

In addition to LMU, Wyoming, Gardner Webb, American, Missouri State, Utah State, UNC-Greensboro, Arkansas State, Rider, Morehead State, Montana State, Louisiana Tech and Maryland Eastern Shore are also expressing interest in Hart.

In an interview with Scoopman TV, Hart discussed a timeline for his commitment. “It isn’t an exact date or anything,” he said. “If the right situation comes across and it’s the right fit for both parties, it can be any day.”

Here is a clip of his season highlight.

There have been several D II players that have joined the WCC in recent times. Khalil Shabazz was excellent this past season for San Fransisco after transferring in from D II Central Washington. Earlier this year, Pepperdine signed Robbie Heath one of the highest-scoring players in D II.
