Adam Zagoria, from the New York Times, tweeted today that LMU is latest school to reach out to Ray Salnave, a 6-3 graduate transfer from Monmouth University.
Salnave was a second-team All-MAAC selection last season, where he averaged 14.5 points-per-game in 2019-20, and 12.1 points in 95 career games at Monmouth. Salnave is eligible to play immediately, and as you can imagine already has a long list of schools who are recruiting him.
Coach Johnson and staff are looking to fill an open scholarship with a high impact guard and Salnave certainly fits the bill. Continue to stay tuned as we follow the progress of recruitment of Salnave.
