Per Rivals.com LMU has offered a scholarship to Tevon Saddler a 6’5” SG out of Baltimore. From what I have read so far, Saddler is excellent defender and slasher who is able to get to the rim using his strength and athleticism. Saddler is a high major recruit and already has a bevy of schools after him. In addition, Saddler seems to be a very good student.

I’m really hoping Saddler is able to make an official visit to LMU. I absolute love players from Baltimore, because of their supreme toughness. One of the best players I ever watched at LMU was Haywood Eddy who hailed from there.

With only scholarship available it seems we are only offering really excellent players like Saddler and Dukes.

Rivals story:

Tevon Saddler – 2013 Shooting Guard from St. Frances Academy/B’More UA Finest (MD)

The brother of Delaware star Devon Saddler, Tevon finished at the rim consistently and created mismatches due to his college-ready physique. His ability to play both guard positions makes him a threat as he has strong court vision, can drive to the basket and isn’t afraid to create while on the move. Saddler needs to improve on his jumper, as well as his on-ball defense, but his size and agility makes him a potential high-major steal. He currently holds offers from South Florida, Delaware, Cornell, Towson, UNC-Greensboro and Loyola Marymount, while the likes of West Virginia, Rhode Island, Virginia Tech, George Mason, Marquette, Hawaii and Kansas State are showing strong interest in him. Saddler originally planned a visit to West Virginia in mid-June, but was not able to attend. The Mountaineers, as well as Hawaii, Kansas State and Delaware are making a push to get him on campus. Although he has visited the CAA school plenty, it would be a surprise if Saddler joined his older brother as a Blue Hen next year due to the level of BCS schools knocking on his door.
